Hey everyone! With 2026 just around the corner, I’ve been thinking about what features we really want to see in upcoming games. Are there any specific mechanics, graphics enhancements, or story elements that you think developers should focus on?
For instance, I’d love to see more immersive open worlds and better AI companions. I feel like these aspects can really take gameplay to the next level. What about you? What trends do you think will shape our gaming experience this year?
Immersive worlds are cool, but I really think we need smarter NPCs that react to us instead of just following a scripted pattern. It gets old when they just stand around waiting for cues. Also, realistic weather effects would be awesome for more dynamic gameplay. Anyone else feel that way?
I really want to see more procedurally generated content. It could make replayability insane and keep the worlds feeling fresh. Also, a toggle for difficulty that adapts based on your skills would be dope!
