Virtual reality gaming has come a long way, but what do you think the future holds for it in 2026? With new technologies emerging and improvements in hardware, I’m curious about how VR will evolve in the coming years.
Do you think we’ll see more social experiences or perhaps a shift towards single-player narratives? Also, what role do you think accessibility will play in making VR more mainstream? Let’s discuss! What are your predictions or hopes for VR gaming’s future?
I think we’re definitely gonna see more social experiences. With VR becoming cheaper, I can see multiplayer games really taking off, like more party games or co-op adventures. Plus, if they keep improving accessibility features, that could pull in a lot of new gamers who might not have tried it before.
I don’t know if we’ll see a big shift towards single-player narratives. Honestly, the social aspect seems to have a tighter grip right now, especially with the push for metaverse stuff. Accessibility is definitely something that needs more focus, though—without it, VR could stay niche forever.
