Is Unity the Top Choice for VR Game Development?

As someone who enjoys exploring the gaming landscape, I’ve been thinking a lot about whether Unity is the best game engine for virtual reality development. Its user-friendly interface and vast asset store make it a popular choice among indie developers and hobbyists. The ability to quickly prototype ideas is a huge plus, especially for those looking to create fun and engaging experiences.

However, I’ve also noticed some bugs and glitches in Unity-based games, which can be both amusing and frustrating. I find myself sharing funny moments from these games, but it raises the question: are these issues a result of the engine itself, or more about the developer’s experience? Given Unity’s accessibility, could it be that we’re seeing more quirky behavior simply because many people are creating without deep technical skills?

I’m curious to hear your thoughts! Do you believe Unity excels in VR development compared to other engines? What has your experience been like with bugs and performance in Unity games? Any favorite alternatives you’d recommend?
