With the surge of game remakes and remasters in recent years, I find myself questioning their overall value. On one hand, they can introduce classic titles to a new generation of gamers, but on the other, they might not capture the original magic.

Take for example the recent remake of a beloved RPG. While the graphics are stunning and the gameplay is smoother, some fans argue that it misses key elements that made the original so special.

Remakes are a mixed bag for sure. I loved the recent one for that classic platformer, but it didn’t have the same charm, you know? Sometimes it feels like they update everything except the soul of the game. Got my hopes up for some nostalgia, but ended up just feeling ‘meh’ about it.
